Stairs Unlimited builds routed stair stringers, notched stair stringers and pre-built stairs made with engineered lumber. Engineered wood products which include Laminated veneer lumber (LVL) and Oriented Strand Board (OSB) are manufactured using a variety of fast-growing, relatively small diameter trees. The laminating and gluing process produces a stronger more consistent product with virtually no warping or splitting. This reduces waste in the mill process by using more of the raw wood in the manufacture of the product, as well eliminating waste caused by imperfections in the wood. It also allows longer lumber to be produced from smaller trees which produces a more environmentally friendly product.
Our Engineered Lumber Interior Box stairs are built with:
  • 1 3/4" x 9 1/2" Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) Stringers
  • 3/4" thick OSB Risers
  • 1" thick OSB Tread
We also build notched stairs, radius stairs, fan stairs and starter steps for a custom look. 		We hammer, glue and staple wood wedges in place.
